Membership:
Membership,
the subscription paid by parents each year, is based on the number
of players from households who take part in the league. Anyone else
can join, and we welcome applications from other members of the
family (aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc). Membership entitles you
to attend and vote at the AGM as well as demonstrating your support
for the League.
Discipline:
The
League’s committee will deal with any player, member
or supporter whose behaviour doesn’t reflect the League’s standards
of sportsmanship and acceptable behaviour. For dangerous
play/violent conduct a cooling off period to a sin-bin, being
replaced by a substitute if available, will take place for a
minimum of 5 minutes at the referee’s discretion. If a player is
removed from the field of play by the referee 3 times in a season,
they will be banned for 1 game. Persistent offenders will be dealt
with by an official committee meeting. Following a reasonable
warning – or in extreme circumstances immediately –players, members
or supporters may be excluded from the
League.
Kit:
Football
strips and equipment are very expensive. Please help us to look
after our possessions. Players’ strips are given to them for the
duration of the season and are held on trust. Please ensure these
are returned at the end of each season, clean and in good
condition.
Trials:
Trials
are held at the end of each season and need to be attended by ALL
new players and EXISTING players moving up the leagues.
If you do not trial you will not be considered for selection and
will be placed on a waiting list when the relevant League Secretary
receives your registration form.
TRIALS FOR THE 2009-10 SEASON WILL BE HELD ON
MAY 9th, 14th, 16th & 19th, 2008 - A.G.M. MAY 9th at
11.00am.
Rules:
A
brief set of rules appear on each league’s information pages. No
jewellery to be worn in matches, if glasses are worn they must be
safety glasses; referees decision is final. If unavailable, players
must inform their Manager at the earliest opportunity. If players
persistently fail to turn up, they may have to be
replaced.
